View, add, and delete job attachments

Overview

Files can be attached to a job by doing one of the following:

  • Uploading them from the mobile app.
  • Adding them directly to the web app.
  • Adding them directly to the CRM job record.

They are synchronized for immediate viewing.

Different file formats can be attached, including PDF, DOCX, XLSX, TXT, JPG, PNG, and audio files.

View and add attachments in the web app

View attachments

To view a job’s attachments in the web app, do the following steps:

Open an attachment

To inspect the contents of an attachment, click on its file name.

Most file types can be displayed directly in the browser, however, some need to be downloaded and then opened in the appropriate application.

If you are using the old job details view, the attachments can be found by clicking the paper clip icon in the right-hand menu.

Add attachments

To add attachments to a job, do the following steps:

  1. On the job details page, click Attachments.
  2. Click on the shaded box labeled Drag and drop area or browse and then select a file. Alternatively, drag and drop a file into the shaded area to upload it directly.

Delete attachments in the web app

To delete an attachment from a job, do the following:

  • Click on the small x icon to the right of the file name.
