Considerations before enabling

Read this before you enable the page builder open beta.

Overview

Before enabling page builder we encourage you review the following materials, and understand the impact to your environment.

Review the FAQ

We’ve created an FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) to answer common questions about page builder. We recommend you review the questions and answers to better understand the scope, impact and timeline of the open beta.

Page builder URLs

Page builder pages are accessed using different URLs to existing pages. This means that during the open beta, you can access either the current, or new user interface.

For more information on page builder URLs and their formats, please refer to the documentation.

See Changes to the user interface for more details on Job and Resource detail pages.

Changes to the user interface

When you enable the page builder open beta, the urls for existing job and resource detail pages automatically render the page builder versions.

This means that URLs such as:

  • Job detail pages - https://<your-team>.my.skedulo.com/job/00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000
  • Resource detail pages - https://<your-team>.my.skedulo.com/resources/00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000

Now redirect to their page builder equivalents automatically, respectively:

  • https://<your-team>.my.skedulo.com/p/resources/00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000

Customizations on the Job detail page

Any existing customisations to the Job details page, such as custom tabs are automatically supported, no configuration required.
