Beta programs are invaluable for helping to validate the value and impact of features through feedback and insights. If you would like to participate in beta programs and access this feature, please contact your Customer Success representative.
Overview
Admins can enable beta features for testing within their organization.
To access the beta features settings page, click on your user profile in the upper-right corner, and then go to Settings > System administration > Beta features.
Beta features
In this section the following settings can be configured:
Enable reschedule jobs
When enabled, an option is added to the availability requests page that allows a scheduler to reschedule jobs that conflict with a resource’s availability request. Also, see Access the availability console.
The default value is OFF.
Enable automatic resource notifications when jobs are canceled
Controls whether automatic notifications are sent to resources when jobs are canceled.
Note: Requires an API user to have been defined.

Enable automatic resource notifications when shifts are published, changed or canceled
Controls whether automatic notifications are sent to resources when shifts change (a new shift is added, a shift changes, or a shift is canceled).
Note: Requires an API user to have been defined and for shifts to be enabled for the team.

Enable notifications center

When enabled, a notification is shown every time an availability request is received from a resource.
The default value is OFF.
Disable new job details page in web app (browser refresh required)
If enabled, the old job details page becomes the job view for the organization. This version of job details is deprecated and no longer being developed.
Note
This feature requires the web browser to be reloaded to toggle its visibility.The default value is OFF.
Enable GraphQL subscriptions for job and allocation updates (browser refresh required)
**Skedulo for Salesforce only
When enabled, this feature uses GraphQL for streaming events on updates to jobs and allocations instead of Salesforce streaming in your Skedulo for Salesforce environment.
Note
This feature is enabled by default in Skedulo Pulse Platform environments.The default value is OFF.
Enable resources to offer their allocated jobs to other resources via the mobile app
If enabled, this feature allows resources to offer a job they have been allocated to other resources using the Skedulo v2 mobile app. See the mobile app documentation on job swaps.
The default value is OFF.
Enable job dependencies
If enabled, schedulers can create relationships between two or more items of work where one job is dependent upon the completion of another job or multiple jobs.
See Job dependencies.
The default value is OFF.
Override availability modal
The default value is OFF.
Filter job list by time constraints
Filters jobs by time constraints in the Jobs List.
When enabled, the jobs list filters out any queued jobs that have time constraints that must start before or must start after the selected time window.
Use customizable quick-create menu
When enabled, the ability to add, remove, reorder, or reconfigure menu items in the quick-create menu (the + button to the right of the global search bar in the web app) is added to the navigation menu settings. Administrators can customize the navigation items that appear on a user-role basis.

Use Optimization extensions
Optimization extensions allow you to configure Optimization recipes that use Skedulo extensions that have been created to meet specific use cases, for example for optimizing schedules for Teams and Crews.
